Did you guys see the new FJ cruiser? I love it.I have been making up my mind that my next car is going to be a 2 year old car.I want to be financially savvy. But FJ is making me think twice. I really love the yellow one. Plus it's from toyota. So you know it's gonna work hard for a long time.

Don't count on it as I had to shift loyalty of brand from Toyota to Honda recently due to my Camry
V6 XLE failing on the transmission when I was cruising at 75mph on a freeway with my family.
Surprisingly a week back I had done a 10000 mile tune up and the care center did not observe anything funny on the car.
Bottomline all cars good depending on how the owners have maintained them thesedays.

Ofcourse I did not buy the Camry new but had 57K on it when I bought. Hence the note on how the owners maintain matters anyways.

That must have been a scary experience. I totally understand why you feel that way. I have an Honda and it's absolutely trouble free(Knock on wood!).
In fact i was searching for a camry 2nd hand. Now i think I'll drop that idea.
