What does Apple’s IPHONE success tell others?

We all know that companies like Samsung, LG, and Nokia etc. come up with new phone design every other quarter or so. But none of them have been a roaring success like IPhone is. We all know that it’s because of Apple’s great design team which is above par compared to others. Their user interface is so sleek and beautiful that it attracts people of all age groups.

Another major factor is Steve Jobs. The man is almost always followed by a mob of journalists. Everything he talks about is overly analyzed and that by itself is a free marketing for Apple products. Who knows the CEO of Samsung, LG, or Nokia? I don’t. I am assuming most people don’t. I think the first thing these companies need to do is to recruit some good PR people and spend more on Marketing rather than focusing more on technology. Motorola is doing a decent job with this. They have some decent publicity because of RAZR. But I still feel that they are still losing the battle.

These companies must somehow come up with ways to hype up their products. Also they need a good design team who can design something with good aesthetic sense. Then we can see some stiff competition for Apple.
